Can we talk about the Darkmoon carte nerf
So I spent 180k on this trinket that blizzard has basically made worthless. Accept darkmoon cards every been gutted like this 2 weeks after release? Everyone who bought fathoms got scammed hard.

No yous actually didn't get scammed.
It was a stiff card that even after getting a small nerf is yet a BiS trinket for a good chunk of classes.
Try harder.
The carte du jour was counterbalanced to be in line with the other cards. Simple as that.

There has been, to my knowledge atleast, no reported fathoms nerfs beyond the ane that happened 2 weeks ago, and if that'southward the ane that yous're referring then only take a good look at your sims and you'll discover that it's yet good. 9% nerf that it received was deserved as it performed besides well compared to the other ones, and for some classes it even simmed college than mythic Uldir trinkets which is just absurd. Hardly a scam, was expected, and it still remains i of the best pre-raid trinkets.

Fixed an issue where Darkmoon Deck: Blockades was providing far less Stamina and Health than intended.
Stock-still an issue where Darkmoon Deck: Squalls was dealing less impairment than intended. Its effective damage has been increased by approximately 300%.
Fixed an issue where Darkmoon Deck: Fathoms would non trigger for Marksmanship or Animate being Mastery hunters.
Reduced the impairment of Darkmoon Deck: Fathoms past 9%.
All the cards except Tides were rebalanced. Partly because Fathoms was overtuned and the others were either bugged or likewise weak.
So basically. OP has zero clue what they are on well-nigh and think a ix% nerf to an OP item is "being scammed" or suddenly makes the particular worthless without doing any actual research into said particular.

Oh fucking well y'all're gonna have to deal with it. The market place tin't business relationship for blizzard nerfing an item. It's even so the best trinket some dps classes can use right now so the value isn't going to decrease that much. Information technology's still money well spent. The deck in question is significantly stronger than all the others, and is even BiS for most relevant specs. The nerf (which was ages ago) was just to bring it in line with the others. There is no difference between nerfing and balancing in this particular example, because the trinket was nerfed specifically to arrive more than balanced, by bringing it in line with other trinkets, including other decks. Even then, it'south still the strongest of the bunch and remains BiS for most relevant specs. Its price tag changes cipher.
